Kaspersky Lab is receiving increasing numbers of reports about Email-Worm.Win32.Bagle.fy from users around the world. This modification of Bagle.fy was first detected on 20th June 2006, and has been spreading rapidly.

The worm arrives in a password protected ZIP archive attached to infected messages. The message itself contains the password in image form.

An antivirus database update containing detection for Bagle.fy has already been released. Users are strongly recommended to ensure that their antivirus databases are up to date.
