RoboForm : How to get a clean install of RoboForm after things got messed up?
If things got really messed up (you are getting notices about double RF DLLs or your browser got damaged), you can get a clean start by doing this sequence:
- Windows 2000 and XP: in every Windows account start this program: rfwipeout.exe. It will clean out all remnants of old RoboForm versions. Note that you should uninstall RoboForm from *all* accounts first.
- Windows 2000 and XP: Install RoboForm from Windows Administrator.
- Install RoboForm in all other Windows accounts where you need it.
- Every time you want to switch from one account to another, you must Logoff and not Switch. If you were Switching (can be done in XP), you will have to redo everything from start. You can be logged in only in one account at a time.
