Not only has Power2Go, the all-media disc burning software, added vast support for burning data, but it also has new exciting features for all types of media destined to be burned on disc.
Burning Data: Rest assured that you'll be ready to burn Blu-ray data discs and take advantage of 25 GB of disc space. When your remaining disc space is questionable, you'll have the ability to split files across two discs if the size of the files exceeds the current disc's capacity. You can burn onto CD-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, Blu-ray and double-layer DVD-R and DVD+R discs. DVD+R, DVD-R, and CD-R discs can be written as multi-session discs.
Burn Music: You'll receive CD artist and title information before you begin ripping CDs from the freedb web site (Note: Internet connection needed). Audio content inherent in video files are also great candidates for soothing audio CDs in their own right. You can create CDs from your video files by converting the audio tracks into any music format by dragging the video files into the burning section (pictured below). MP3, WAV or WMA formats are also supported. Some home-brewed audio CDs have songs that follow one another in succession without pauses or gaps. Power2Go allows you to set gaps between audio tracks on your CDs with default at 2 seconds.
Burning Videos/Photos: When burning non-data files such as videos and photos, your creativity will flourish with Power2Go. Like other authoring software, you can create stylish DVD menus with background music, nifty navigation buttons, and a choice of menu styles, titles and music. New menu templates enabling image overlays between video and photo thumbnails with a menu's background will leave your audience in awe. Save valuable time when authoring DVDs by creating chapters automatically from each video clip. All video clips usually contain at least one exciting frame you can capture to represent your DVD chapter as a thumbnail in your DVD menu. Power2Go features a slider for precisely locating the frame you desire most.
Burning Copies: The last of the four modules, burning copies is quick and painless. You can copy your favorite CDs or non-protected DVDs. Before you begin, you can alter the source disc, the destination burner if you have multiple burners, and set the number of disc copies.
