The Port Monitor application is a dedicated security tool designed for monitoring and controlling all hardware connection events that may occur in the configuration of a computer, it¡¯s either a standalone computer or part of a company LAN.

The concept behind the application is to ensure ports security by providing two types of protection: passive protection - by monitoring and signaling all device connection events to the system or network administrator - and active protection - by blocking the functioning of a certain peripheral until the access password is confirmed by the administrator.
