The EurekaDBA utilities are GUI based and run on standard Windows 9x and Windows NT/2000 computers. Some of the utilities are server-side only while others can be run on servers and clients.
Eureka Sessions: Monitor database user sessions. View the SQL code and locks for each session. Trace and kill sessions.
Eureka Jobs: Manage database jobs. View, submit, alter, run, break/unbreak and remove jobs.
Eureka Set Sequence: Set database sequences to new values. The next sequence value can be set to continue from the highest value already in a field, or from any valid given value.
Eureka Data Dictionary: Generates formatted reports on selected database schema objects.
Eureka Statistics: Generates formatted database statistics reports and performance information. Ideal for a database audit.
Eureka Storage: Generates formatted database storage reports, on selected schemas and tablespaces, and keeps storage history.
Eureka Recompile: Recompiles invalid stored procedures and views.
Eureka Analyze: Analyzes database objects to compute statistics and validate structures.
Eureka Start Stop: Starts and stops Oracle databases in different modes.
Eureka Backup: Performs full database backups and switches log files. Includes "Hot", "Cold" and "Full Database Export" backups.
Log Files: Execution logs and reports.
Eureka Mail Logs: Sends execution logs via email to selected addresses.
