Binary Boy is a newsgroup downloader that quickly sifts through the unwanted subjects and downloads only the files matching your search criteria. Using Binary Boy is simple:

• Choose a list of newsgroups to search.
• Enter your search criteria using AND, OR and NOT.
• Click the Search button and watch the files pile up on your hard drive in auto mode or browse the subjects and click on the best files manually.

If you can't find the file you want, connect to the built-in file sharing network and search other users' files.

More than a newsreader - In addition to downloading files from newsgroups, you can also search the files of other Binary Boy users. If the file you want is incomplete or has been deleted from the news server, connect to the Binary Boy file sharing network and see if another user has it.

Fast - Even on a dial-up connection you can discard thousands of unwanted subjects in minutes.

Skip Article, Skip File and Skip Similar commands allow you to cancel downloads already in progress.

Scheduler - The built-in scheduler can call your news server at a preset time, such as late at night, search for files and hang up when it's finished. Each scheduled event can trigger daily or on a specific date. See the Schedule Editor screen shot.

Easy to use - Search using single words, wildcards or complex AND, OR and NOT rules such as (.jpg or .gif or .wav) and "Southpark".

Flexible Filtering - Filter articles based on any line in the header, the length of the article or the estimated size of the decoded file.
