Cool Web Scrollbars Main Features:
What's New in 3.0:
The program allows you to choose which part of the scrollbar you wish to color simply by passing your mouse cursor over a portion of the pictured scrollbar example and clicking. You can then type in a hex color value for that element, choose a color visually from the Windows palette, or click the eye-dropper button to get an exact color value from anything your cursor is over. As you choose or define colors, the big sample scrollbar is updated automatically with the new colors. You can also see an actual size preview of what the scrollbars will look like on your page using the program's built in "mini-browser" (if you have I.E. 5.5 or later installed on your system) by clicking the "Actual Size Preview" button on the main program window.
In a hurry and don't need so much control over detail? You can now just define a base color and let I.E. automatically color all the scrollbar elements in shades based on that color when the end user loads your page. The big scrollbar sample image on the main program window is not updated if you use this option, but you can use the "Actual Size Preview" mentioned above to see the results.
Once you define the colors of your scrollbars, one click generates the needed HTML code and displays it in a small window for you to copy and paste into the HTML code of your page.
You can also now save your scrollbar color schemes to a file and re-load them into the program at a later time to change any color values or re-generate the code for another page should you lose your original code.
Send emails with colored scrollbars too by saving Outlook Express stationery files from within the program. (The emails will only have colored scrollbars if viewed in Outlook Express.)
