SpaceMenace is the arcade remake of the famous Battleship game.

Basically the rules of SpaceMenace are almost the same but now much depends on the accuracy and strategy of shots what brings the old game to an entirely new level. The complete SpaceMenace distribution includes 3 consequent types of games each with 3 levels. The rules are simple but you have lo learn much about enemy tactics to pass the hard levels.

SpaceMenace Game Rules:

SpaceMenace is a small game similar to the classic BattleShip. The battle-field consists of two 12x12 grids. Right part contains enemy warships. You must locate and destroy these enemy invaders before they destroy your fllet.

As you can see there are two types of game: "Fast Game", which could be also called Practice or Training and the "Fast Game" itself - full campaign of battles where you pass several levels. In shareware version only the "Fast Game" mode is available.

Each cosmic race has it's own set of ships. It usually consists of one huge, two large, three medium and four small ships. Before the battle begins you can arrange disposition of your units. For automatic selection of formation, click the "Autoarrange" button at the bottom of the screen.

SpaceMenace Several tips:

Position of enemy ships is revealed by where their shots originated from.

The lesser ships left, the easier to find the rest.

Avoid shoot to often, manoeuvre and watch instead.

Being wounded, enemy ship tries to maneure, kill it or you will never find it again.

All ships can move only in horisontal direction.
