VivoStatic is a multimedia application designed to play VIVO video files. It is packed full of features and includes a very user friendly graphical interface. VivoStatic allows you to create or edit playlists, play videos at any size, stream files from the internet and much more! Videos can be played in fullscreen at different resolutions and can be 'scaled', so that they maintain their original proportions. VivoStatic 3 includes VIVO packaging technology, allowing you to package your VIVO videos into just one file. This file can be optionally password protected, allowing for the easy organization and protection of your VIVO video collection.

VivoStatic uses a component from VivoActive to decode the VIVO files. This was not written by MacroByte and appropriate copyright laws apply to the component.

VivoStatic Main Features:

Implemented file type registration. This means that VivoStatic can be integrated into the shell of your machine, allowing you to double click on VivoStatic related files in Windows Explorer and have them open in VivoStatic.

Added the ability to run fullscreen mode at different resolutions and color depths.

'Scaled' mode added to display functions which allows users to keep the video scaled in the appropriate proportions, independent of the player size.

VIVO Streaming - VIVO files can now be played straight from the internet

Variable volume control added.

Clipboard Monitor - Monitors the Windows clipboard and as soon as the URL of an online VIVO file is copied, it will ask whether you wish to stream it in VivoStatic.

Changes to playlist functions and operations. The playlist controls and editor have been changed to match the conventions used in modern media players such as WinAmp.

Added the ability to define how the scrolling title is constructed.

Newer version of the VIVO codec implemented. This has increased the playback quality of VIVO files.

Added 'Drag & Drop' features, allowing users to drag VivoStatic related files into VivoStatic from Windows Explorer.

New help system implemented.

Added a new program installer/uninstaller

Options moved from text delimited files to the registry for smoother and quicker execution.

Evaluation version now allows 10 uses instead of 6.
