MPNews PRO Newsreader template is for the MPNews PRO news server (available separately). This template changes the style of the web interface to be similar to a standard newsreader.

This template makes your web interface look similar to Outlook Express and other similar newsreader programs. The main screen is split into three panes, including the list of available news groups, the list of messages in the selected group, and the contents of the selected message. There is also a toolbar across the top to provide features such as posting a new message, replying to the selected message, and sending an e-mail to the author of the selected message.

This is a good style to use if you want to provide web access to your news group for readers who are already familiar with using a standard news reader program, but happen to occasionally require access over the web.
