For those who still have not discovered how to achieve such high scores, we have some advice. There are three basic prerequisites for success:
1) Use the bubbles appropriately.
Sometimes it's a good idea to release several small bubbles; sometimes it's better to aim accurately with bigger bubbles, which are faster. Press the fire key for a longer time to make a bigger bubble.
2) Learn to distinguish between the feathers.
Most feathers will help you better cope with the onrush of ducks. However, there are also feathers that make the fight more difficult. See game help for information on what each feather is good for.
3) Collect bonus apples.
Apples play a key role in the game. They increase the number of points for each duck shot down. The more apples you gather, the more points you earn for each duck you shoot down. However, you need to collect them one by one--from the red one to the green one. The red apple will fall off all by itself, but you have to shoot down the rest of them. If you manage to gather all three apples, you get the highest bonus for a shot-down duck plus a "megabubble," which is created by holding the fire key for a long time.
Also note that the marsh isn't bad at all. It will come in handy especially when you need to replenish your ammo more quickly.
