Wave Editor is an audio-multimedia application designed for general ease of use for the novice user to the advanced music enthusiast that can't live without their sounds! We supply Wave Editor with 4 different functionality levels so you can pick the version that best suits your needs.

With Wave Editor you can (depending on the version):

  • Play CDs, wave, MIDI and MP3 files.
  • Recording wave files.
  • Convert from one audio format to another (including MP3).
  • Use the Mixer Desk to adjust volume and other properties of your soundcard.
  • Optionally available with a volume fader designed to produce professional sounding recordings. Fade any volume setting in or out at the speed you choose, and up or down to the required volume level.
  • Split waves into two separate files. Useful for full live sets that need splitting up into separate tracks before writing to CD.
  • Speed up and slow down wave files. Save to new files that sound faster or slower compared to the original.
  • Increase or decrease the playback volume of wave files. Save to new files that sound louder or softer compared to other files at the same speaker volume.
  • Decorrupt MP3 files that contain unusual formats or headers and render them playable by MP3 playing software that would otherwise fail to open.
  • Dynamically remove data from standard wave files and MP3s. Useful for removing silences at the beginning and end of tracks.
  • Specify play lists to play in the background.
  • Document your files for additional information.
  • Use the Advanced Playback features of Wave Editor to adjust each file's playback characteristics individually via its volume, left and right pan and the playback frequency of the file.

    System Requirements:
  • Windows 95, or later (Windows 98 or later recommended).
  • 133mHz processor, or greater (300mHz recommended).
  • Sound card with audio drivers installed (Sound Blaster compatible recommended).
